The other weekend, I was sitting at a wedding surrounded by laughter, love, and fellow entrepreneurs. My friend’s husband shared how they’ve built a business that gives them the freedom to work only a set number of hours, spend time with their kids, travel often, and truly enjoy life.

Everyone at the table leaned in, captivated by the dream. Freedom. Balance. Success.

But after the conversation shifted to smaller side chats, I leaned over and asked, “Yeah, but it wasn’t always that way, right?”
